Fried Chicken Drumlets with Thai Dipping Sauce by nosugarjustanger Fried Chicken Drumlets with Thai Dipping Sauce by nosugarjustanger
These babies were so amazing! :faint:

I don't think everyone knows how much I love fried chicken - of all sorts - but now you know!

Nothing makes me happier than to have these to start a casual dinner right! Or to accompany a few pints of dark ale/stouts. I want my chicken, fried, braised, grilled.. but most preferably fried with lots of spice and heat to them!

:faint:

:hungry:

I WANT MORE!! :eager:

Yeah, we have to watch the cholesterol thing... Foodies have to be aware of crucial things. :)

Yep. To enjoy food, we have to be healthy enough to do so. It makes no sense to eat recklessly and in turn, harm our health.. I plan to live to experience more things in life, which includes food. :D

That's something I just love about chicken: It admits practically everything. One jammed dressing I tried consisted about brown sugar, green pepper/Mustard cream, ras-el-hanout, garlic, olive oil (extra virgin) and salt... and it resulted great!! And all of it all of a sudden.

You are incredibly right! The only thing when chicken doesn't taste good is when it's undercooked or overcooked. Fried chicken sounds rather simple but there is an art to the cooking of it! It has to be fried, but not to the point where the flesh is dry - it has to be juicy, moist and the kind of chicken makes a huge difference too! Farm chicken tastes a whole lot better than the battery-chicken.

 I want more!

Yeah. Undercooked is absoltely revolting and overcooked is like if you would chew cork, so timing is fundamental.

As long as I can I procure to get farm chicken, which is rather common here. The colour says a lot about it there. And for some exceptional times I procure to get some wild chicken (pitu de caleya), exclusive of my region. It's perhaps the most stupendous bird ever for a stew. Too bad it's so expensive.

Oh, I hope I get to try that someday! Wild chicken, eh? I don't think I ever had that.

How much does it cost, if I may ask?

It varies, but it's in Christmas and eves when the prices skrockets. At any rate, it'll be expensive, altough I can't tell now how many euros does it cost...
